This Privacy Policy explains how DoodleNote handles information when you use the iOS app and related services. DoodleNote does not require a user account and does not operate a cloud library for your saved creations.
Photos and generated images
DoodleNote processes a photo only when you choose to submit it for AI generation. The photo, optional description, and generated image are used to complete that generation request and return the result to the app.
Photos and generated images are automatically deleted from DoodleNote's backend after processing. DoodleNote does not keep a long-term server-side library of your photos or generated images. To keep your work, save it on your device, in Photos, or through Apple iCloud if you use iCloud.
Information we do not collect
DoodleNote does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, mailing address, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your information.
Information processed to provide the service
DoodleNote may temporarily process photos you submit, optional descriptions, generated image results, purchase and credit status, push notification tokens if you enable notifications, and technical request data needed to operate, secure, and debug the service.
How we use information
- To generate AI-styled images from photos you submit.
- To manage credits, purchase validation, and restore purchase flows.
- To provide app features such as folders, history, sharing, and notifications.
- To detect abuse, debug failures, maintain reliability, and improve the service.
Service providers
DoodleNote uses trusted service providers for hosting, image generation, purchase validation, notifications, and related infrastructure. These providers process information only as needed to provide DoodleNote's features.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. DoodleNote does not receive your payment card details. We may process purchase and credit status only as needed to provide purchased credits, restore purchases, and prevent abuse.
Local storage and iCloud
The app may store projects, folders, generated images, and settings on your device. If you enable Apple services such as iCloud or iOS backups, Apple may process that data according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.
Retention
Photos and generated images submitted for generation are automatically deleted from the backend after processing. Technical, purchase, and security records may be kept only as long as needed to operate the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support purchases. Locally stored app content remains on your device until you delete it or delete the app.
Children
DoodleNote is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us through the DoodleNote contact form.
Your choices
You can choose which photos to submit, delete local app content, revoke photo library permissions in iOS Settings, disable notifications in iOS Settings, and use Apple's purchase management tools for in-app purchases.
